Heath Cook plays bass guitar in the Mountain Sound band and on the New Album.
Heath started playing with his family group at a very young age of 11, the Tony Cook Family. Heath's father and mother, Brother Tony and Sister Joyce evangelized preaching and singing the gospel for many years. They too recorded several albums and Heath was always ready to play bass and travel wherever God opened the doors.
Heath’s life and testimony are one of endurance, keeping the faith, and an example of God’s faithfulness. Through the struggles of life and the uncertainties that come with it, Heath remarks “If it hadn’t been for the Lord by my side, there’s no way I could have survived.” Heath and his wife Annette were married 23 years when God saw fit to call her home. Although tragic, and often difficult to say or see at times, God is faithful. I was reminded of the scripture “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths. – Proverbs 3:5-6”
Trusting Jesus as my Savior, I had to say Amen. I did just that, and God has surely brought me “Through It All”.
Later on, after some time passed, Lady Lynn entered my life and we were married in 2019. Lynn and I love traveling and working for the Lord in anyway we can. I feel my life is a display and a true testament of God’s goodness. We never know how our light is to shine, God just supplies the opportunity as we trust in Him.
“It still amazes me how God can heal and renew our hearts, souls, and minds when we learn we can truly trust in Him.”
