First, and foremost, 

It's not About Us - it's About Him! 

Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, from whom all blessings flow. Amen

Jesus said "If I'd be lifted up, I will draw all men unto me."

So lifting up the name of Jesus wherever they can, whenever they can, however they can, 

Dan Looper & Mountain Sound is trying their best to do just that! 

The fields are plentiful and ripe for harvest, 

and we want to be found working in those fields.

Dear friend as you read this, know this...

God has blessed each member in our band so greatly, 

and we feel most honored in sharing with you our very best in service and talents.

Each member of the DLMSB have varied backgrounds and diverse professional status, 

but we all share the same unified knowledge of being raised in church by our parents, who taught us to love and fear God. 

We rejoice in knowing our hearts, souls, and minds are dedicated, and totally surrendered to Christ. 

Salvation is through and by the blood of Jesus Christ, and in Him alone. There's no other name above the name of Jesus! 

Accepting the Holy Spirit's drawing power and call, each one of us have had an individual  "old-fashioned, self surrendering experience" of true salvation, bowing at an altar of prayer. 

We are blood-bought born-again believers who believe the Bible in it's entirety, from cover to cover, and realize the time is at hand, the harvest is plenty, and night is drawing near.

Don't get me wrong, We aren't saying we are perfect... But through the blood of Jesus Christ we are however, gloriously saved, forgiven, and redeemed.

OUR MISSION

1. The mission of Dan Looper and Mountain Sound Band is to minister through our music the glorious gospel in song. 
2. To mention in testimony the Gospel (Good News) of Jesus Christ. 
3. To sing a song of encouragement, play a joyful tune of hope, faith and love.
4. Live life in full knowledge God has everything under His control.
5. To show Godly love, compassion, and understanding grace, as fulfilling the calling of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

If it were not for Jesus, there is no telling how our lives would differ. I believe certainly for the worse, without a doubt.  

You see it's like this, a traveler without a destination charted and mapped, will soon find any random path will get him nowhere, he is lost, and serving no purpose. But, when God enters the heart, and gives that traveler (a person) true direction, and a map to follow, clearing the paths, leading, guiding, directing the steps toward a completed destination, we can find we have a new meaning, a new focus, a sincere heart full of joy, and are most honored to complete the task, the mission, the journey set out before them. 

Then eventually, if we stay true to the direction, upon one glorious day, the longed-for destination becomes a reality, it's Heaven, our happy home above, Heaven the land of peace, joy, and love! Oh it makes me feel like traveling on!
